Leasing
This is an arrangement made between the end user and the bank of their choice. The customer will be responsible for all maintenance costs and they will obtain ownership of the vehicle.
Hire purchase
Like leasing, this is an arrangement made between the end user and the bank of their choice. Although the machine is not owned by the hirer, they are responsible for all maintenance costs.
Contract hire
This is becoming the most popular method of acquiring your materials handling equipment. There is no capital outlay and all payments are tax allowable. Although the machine is not owned, hirers are responsible for comprehensive insurance and must ensure operators are properly trained. All routine servicing and breakdown repairs are included. The contract hire term is negotiable in advance. At the end of the agreed hire period you can return the equipment or continue hiring on a month-by-month basis.
